"Creating Pathways for Change"
An Oxford Area Clinical Psychologist with Nearly Three Decades of Experience
Welcome to My Website
I am a Clinical Psychologist whose office is in Oxford, Ohio - the home of Miami University. I help adults and adolescents forge new paths to change through the use of cognitive and existential forms of psychotherapy. I have been doing this kind of work for nearly 30 years in various contexts and my methods have developed and matured throughout that time. Who I Am I am one of the few fortunate people who have found work that they love doing. I have the deep satisfaction of helping people make profound and lasting changes in their lives. The work of change is not always easy. My role, as I see it, is to establish a context of trust and support within which clients can reshape themselves. I provide my clients with a framework; a way of understanding the brain and the mind, which allows them to overcome the habitual, emotional patterns that have limited their growth and to set out on a new path to a different life. [more] My Services I work with a wide range of people and problems. The single largest segment of my clientele consists of Miami University students who come to me with depression, anxiety, relationship and peer problems, conflicts within their larger family, alcohol abuse and other substance problems, issues of self-harm and general adaptation to the challenging academic and social environment of the University.
